J.D. Antell, author of The Dog Walker’s Startup Guide, and Honors graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology’s School of Photographic Art’s and Sciences, owned and operated a successful dog walking and training business for over 7 years. Helping to turn what was largely an amateur industry into the professional and profitable industry it is today. His wife Eileen, has studied at Harvard University, with some of the worlds top animal behavior and human behavior researchers in the world.

Prior to being a dog walker and business owner J.D. started out in the film and television industry but his work slowly evolved into the commercial advertising and marketing industries. J.D. produced, directed, and wrote many award-winning commercial and entertainment products during his tenure in this business.

Today, J.D. is focusing on writing and publishing original dog-focused material for entertainment and informational purposes.
